    As a K-12 administrator, he implemented numerous initiatives to improve instructional quality and foster a positive school culture.     After retiring from public education, his dedication to improving education continued as he took on a significant role at Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School. Here, he served as an instructional specialist and relationship manager, instrumental in designing and implementing curriculum enhancements tailored to meet contemporary educational and workforce demands. His initiatives here focused on ensuring that education was relevant and practical, providing students with the skills needed for higher education and future careers.

     

    In this role, Steven Cashman also managed innovative work-study programs that linked academic learning with real-world applications. By partnering with local businesses and organizations, he allowed students to apply their academic skills in professional environments, enhancing their learning experience and employment prospects.
